Hello and welcome to my website.
Q: Who is Jen?
A: Great question!
Well it’s obvious I am a mortgage broker, (if you were looking for a graphic designer or wedding planner you are on the wrong page)… but what about all the other important stuff that makes me me? Well, lets starts with the basics:
I am a charismatic, caring and smiley individual who can often be found singing show tunes in my car or dancing my way down the hallway. I perform in community theatre and am a member of one of Calgary’s largest singing groups” Revv 52”. I like to listen to ABBA when I have had a bad day. Who can be down listening to “Dancing Queen?”. I am interested in fitness and nutrition and when I am not working or singing I am likely working out or running with my dog. I have been told many times that I write exactly how I speak and I like that. I write a food blog with my fiance called Calgary Foodies. I am a talker, an extrovert, (in case that wasn’t obvious) and a little bit of a control freak (in the nicest possible way) and I enjoy interacting with and helping to people.
That’s why my job doesn’t seem like a job at all. I get to meet and interact with many different people from different walks of life. And not only do I get to help them get into the home they want but I get to make friends doing it.
It is definitely about professionalism, but that doesn’t mean things have to be stuffy and boring. I think buying a home should be fun and exciting and I provide fast, efficient and friendly service to all my clients and friends. Once I am finished a transaction it doesn’t end there. I work on a “clients for life” philosophy, so it’s not just about getting a pay check and hitting the road. I want my clients to feel comfortable enough to call me anytime about any question that might come up about their mortgage or when they are making plans on future mortgage matters. And because of this attitude I get a lot of repeat and referral business from my clients, which is a HUGE compliment.
